The 1st International Continuous Professional Development (CPD) seminar for professional social workers was completed with great participation and success.
The Center for Social and Humanitarian Crisis Research in collaboration with 7 universities and international organizations co-organized the 1st International Continuous Professional Development (CPD) seminar for professional social workers.
The seminar, certified by the International Federation of Social Workers, lasted six weeks and included the following topics:
Social work in the context of war conflicts.
Supporting refugees and displaced populations.
Post-war reconstruction and transitions to peace.
Peacebuilding, reconciliation and social services.
Inclusion in the context of post-war transitions. Working with Children-Soldiers in Africa.
International organizations, global partnerships and the contribution of social work to sustainable peace.
